We couldn’t believe our luck when we stumbled upon this true Savoie jam pot, crafted around 1880. Once a staple in 19th-century kitchens, it was designed to hold jams and preserves, its sturdy stoneware body built for function and longevity. The mottled yellow glaze has aged beautifully, wearing into a rich, varied patina that tells its own story. Now, it’s just as suited for holding wooden spoons, a handful of dried flowers, or simply standing on its own as a piece of history. A rare find, and one that won’t come around often.
