I hear you ask, "Sylvie, why is the Tapestry more expensive than your previous ones?" Well, dear collector, the answer is her age and history. This incrediable example of craftsmanship was found in a Chateau in Perche, France. This tapestry was discovered in a chateau in Perche beautifully repaired and preserved. It was crafted by a local artisan who spent months stitching each thread to capture the beloved landscape surrounding the château. The scene depicts the gentle French countryside, with trees casting dappled shadows on a warm autumn afternoon. Draped across a large window sill, it served as a barrier against the draft that crept through the château’s stone walls, providing warmth during family gatherings and evening conversations. Each stitch holds the memory of those cozy moments, preserving a piece of the château’s soul.

A tale so magical, we barely believe it. The story of this collection begins in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, where whispers led us to an extraordinary discovery—a resting place for the remnants of chateaus long forgotten. This ‘graveyard’ was unlike anything Sylvie had ever encountered.

Amidst the ruins, each piece seemed to carry the echoes of noble homes, some felled by earthquakes, others abandoned and left to time. It was a place of lost grandeur, where fragments of history lay waiting. Sylvie handpicked her favorites from these forgotten treasures, breathing new life into each one, and sometimes, a new purpose. This collection is a revival of French history, offering pieces once thought lost to time.
