Saint Uze Teapot
France, 19th Century
$195
She’s part teapot, part showpiece. From the famed Saint-Uze workshops of the Drôme, this 19th-century teapot bears the classic cobalt floral motifs that made Bleus de Saint-Uze a staple in French kitchens. Once used to serve steaming tea or broth by the hearth, it now lives beautifully as a vase for fresh flowers—or as a sculptural object on its own. The maker’s mark stamped beneath nods to its rare lineage, while its generous form feels both humble and heroic in scale.
