This 1970s Danish sideboard was made by Hundstrup Møbelfabrik, a small cabinet workshop producing solid oak furniture for everyday homes during the height of Danish Modern design. The cupboards held table linens and serving dishes, and the drawers kept cutlery and papers in order, opened at dinner and closed again at night. The oak is simple and balanced, with four paneled doors above a row of drawers with small brass pulls, all raised on sculptural legs joined by a stretcher. Inside are adjustable shelves and felt-lined drawers, and it still keeps its original keys. Sylvie loves it in a dining room or living space styled with your favorite vessels and vintage coffee table books.
