This wooden chair from the Savoie Alps—complete with a sweet heart-shaped cutout—was discovered in Villeneuve and is currently en route to our estate. Lightweight but sturdy, it works as an accent chair, a hallway perch, or simply a reminder that furniture can be both functional and a little sentimental.

    Like many antique wood pieces, this piece has evidence of previous wood worm holes and has been repaired in the past. It has cracks, patina and stains, but we think that only adds to its character.
