19th c. Rare Butcher Table
France, 19th Century
$1,895
This 19th-century butcher table was found in Lyon, but it’s not the quiet type. From the scalloped apron to the fluted legs and diamond-cut carvings, every detail was made to be noticed. Built from solid wood and topped with a single drawer and brass pull, it once lived a practical life, but now it’s pure presence. Use it in an entryway, a side table in a living room, or anywhere that could use a little bit of charisma

Notes from Sylvie:
This very sturdy and solid antique piece wears its history beautifully. It has a sanded raw wood top and past woodworm holes, repairs, cracks, patina, and stains all add to its character.
