Found just outside Lyon, this vintage glass pedestal dish has a patterned bowl that catches the light in its cutwork, lifted on a tall, balanced stem. The glass has a weight to it that makes it feel substantial despite its delicacy. Once used for fruit or sweets in a French dining room, Sylvie uses hers piled with grapes in summer or dotted with chocolates in winter - always out on display, never tucked away. Exactly as pictured.
