French Cloche - III

France, 20th Century

$145

A weighty little pressed-glass dome with soft ridges, a petal-like motif, and a faceted knob that catches the light like it’s showing off. Cloches were originally used in European table service to keep food protected and presentable before it hit the table, and this one still does that job beautifully. Use it to cover a wedge of cheese, a plate of petits fours, or a few pastries on the counter, and let the pattern do the flirting for you.
