A bowl that’s far too pretty to hide in a cupboard. Made in France by Sarreguemines in the late 19th to early 20th century, this ironstone pedestal bowl shows off the “Epine” pattern- blue transferware florals curling around its scalloped base and handles. Originally meant for soups and fruits at long Sunday lunches, it’s now just as happy piled with lemons or left empty as a centerpiece. Sylvie loves how it adds a bit of ceremony to the everyday, especially when paired with other French pieces that don’t try too hard to match.
