Built for skill, not show. Found in Béziers and originally from a French polisher’s workshop in Pézenas, this 19th-century work table carries the honest marks of daily craft. The thick tabletop, softened by years of sanding and stain, sits on turned legs joined by sturdy crossbars for balance and strength. Once used for finishing fine furniture, it now makes an ideal kitchen island or desk.

Please note this piece has missing handles, that could be replaced and gaps in the boards at the top. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, age cracks, patina, old, inactive woodworm holes, and stains - just the way we like it.
