Midcentury Chairs (Set of 4)

We almost didn’t list these - because we wanted to keep them. A rare midcentury set of rush chairs with sculptural ladder backs and meticulously woven seats, found in France and reminiscent of the work of Charles Dudouytand the French modernist workshops of the 1940s. The craftsmanship here is wild: each rush seat tightly hand-woven in a geometric pattern that feels both traditional and unexpectedly fresh. Sylvie swears they’re just as good around a long dining table as they are pulled up in a corner with a carafe of wine and a stack of design magazines.
