This antique copper cauldron has the kind of shape you spot across a market from twenty feet away. Found in Villeneuve, it’s rounded and generous with thick iron handles fixed at the sides, the sort of vessel once used for cooking in large hearths or for heating water over an open fire. Use it as a cover for a plant pot, a large branch vase, or simply as a sculpture in its own right. Sylvie loves it for the warmth of the copper and the way the hammered surface catches the light.
