Oak Coffee Table

She’s sturdy and unfussy, in the best way. Found in Béziers and dating to the early 20th century, this solid oak table features a thick plank top, a single wide drawer, and turned legs tied together with a low stretcher. The oak is in beautiful condition, with a surface that’s softened and lightened over time, showing small marks and tonal shifts that sit comfortably rather than calling attention to themselves. Sylvie loves it kept simple - a a few coffee table books or left bare to let the wood speak for itself.
