Grain Chest Table

France, 19th Century

$1,895

This grain chest from Avignon has the straightforward, useful build you expect from a farmhouse piece, with a carved diamond panel that makes your jaw drop. The top has hinges so it opens up to hidden storage. It was originally used for storing grain and dry goods, a practical anchor in a working kitchen. Today, Sylvie likes it under a mirror or along a hallway.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
