Petit Desk

A petite desk with cabriole legs this graceful does not come along often. Found in Avignon, this early 20th century piece was likely tucked into a bedroom or small sitting room where letters were written and hair was pinned up before supper. The single drawer is just enough for notebooks, chargers, or a favorite lipstick, and the compact footprint makes it easy to slot into an entryway, beside a window, or as a vanity. Sylvie likes it paired with a Lorraine chair, a gilt vanity and a tall glass of something cold while she answers emails.
