Sylvie thinks we all need more pedestals in our life, specifically for artwork, not boyfriends. This hand-carved wooden piece was found in Avignon and came out of an art studio near Paris, carrying the marks of chisels and shaping tools that formed its rounded column and bead-like detailing near the top. Sylvie loves it for lifting a vase, sculpture, or any object that deserves its own stage.
