A classic French champagne bath with a wide bowl and pedestal base, designed to keep bottles chilled and within reach through long, drawn-out meals. This chrome-plated piece was found in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Pieces like this would have lived tableside, presented with a bottle already on ice, ready to be poured without interruption. Sylvie loves it filled with ice and champagne, or set at the center of a table with fruit piled high.
