Antique Charcoal Bucket

France, 19th Century

$295

Antique

One-Of-A-Kind

Rare

A hardworking piece from another era, this antique metal charcoal bucket was once kept beside the hearth to carry coal or embers for the fire. The faceted form and sturdy iron handle made it easy to lift and pour, while the darkened metal surface shows the marks and heat-worn character of years spent by the fireplace. Sylvie loves it beside the hearth again, or repurposed as a waste bin.
