Hardworking tools often make the best objects. This primitive Spanish work stool was originally used as a simple workshop seat, built from pale wood with thick legs and a sturdy stretcher base to keep it steady on uneven floors. The worn seat and honest construction show years of practical use. Sylvie likes it pulled into service now as a pedestal for sculpture, plants, or anything that deserves a little extra height.
Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
Notes from Sylvie:
Dear collector, the stool top has a radius of 9" and its quite sturdy. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, cracks, scratches, holes, years worth of patina, and stains - just the way we like it.
