Found in Montpellier and originally made in Spain in the 1930s, this slender iron side table is finished in a warm, worn gold that’s softened over time. The top is edged with a delicate raised lip, sitting on a narrow stem that opens into a three-footed base with just enough curve to keep it feeling light. There’s wear throughout, exactly what you’d hope to see at this age, giving the finish a depth that doesn’t come new. Sylvie likes it pulled up beside a chair with a candle or a glass of wine resting on top. Exactly as pictured.
