Saint Uze Sugar Pot

France, 20th Century

$145

Vintage

One-Of-A-Kind

Exactly As Pictured

Afternoon tea, but done the southern French way, a little more practical and a little more clever. This Saint-Uze sugar pot with lid is finished in a soft cream glaze with delicate blue floral sprigs. Produced in the Drôme region in the late 19th to early 20th century, Saint-Uze ceramics were known for their durable stoneware bodies and everyday ingenuity, made for kitchens that valued use as much as appearance. Sylvie keeps it out on the counter in the kitchen filled with, you guessed it, sugar.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
