This 19th-century farm table, found in Béziers, has a worn parquet top made from narrow planks set in a simple pattern. A single center drawer with a wooden knob sits just beneath the edge, and straight legs keep it steady. Tables like this stayed in constant use. Meals were prepared here, linens folded, and neighbors lingered long after supper. The surface slowly recorded it all. Sylvie uses it as a dining table or kitchen work table, where the patterned top and softened pine make everyday routines feel a little more grounded.
