Discovered in Avignon, this rare shoe polisher’s bench is built from solid wood with a tall back and a lift-top seat set on its original metal hinges. Inside is a deep compartment that once held brushes, tins, and polishing cloths. It would have lived in an entry or workshop, ready for the daily routine of shining boots before leaving the house. Today it works naturally as a hallway bench with hidden storage.
