This monumental Spanish dining table is crafted from solid pine with an expansive plank top that showcases its knots, grain, and honest wear. The trestle base is anchored by thick plank legs and a scalloped stretcher, reinforced with iron cross bracing and turned wooden tightening elements, a traditional Spanish construction detail designed for strength and longevity. It has been raised in height for comfortable modern dining while maintaining its historic character. This piece has some places where the wood has been repaired and replaces with newer lighter wood. Its grey unfinished wood and the grain is slightly raised showing its character. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, cracks, scratches, holes, years worth of patina, and stains - just the way we like it.
