Found in Montpellier but originally from Mallorca, this 1930s iron side table is the sort of piece you would have spotted on a terrace or tucked beside a chair in a Spanish home. The slender stem rises from a curled tripod base into a round tray top edged with a delicate lip, all forged by hand in the easy decorative style common in Mediterranean ironwork of the period. Years of use have softened the metal into a warm, aged finish. Sylvie loves it beside a chair with a small vase or a glass of wine resting on top.
