One-Of-A-Kind

This oil painting on canvas presents a classic still life of pots and vegetables arranged across a wooden surface, with a stoneware pitcher, bowl of fruit, clustered grapes, carrots, cabbage, and garlic gathered in a quietly abundant composition. The dark background heightens the glow of the produce and pottery, drawing on traditional European still life techniques where light and texture do the storytelling. Sylvie loves it in a kitchen or dining space, where that generous spread of everyday ingredients feels entirely at home.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.

  • Notes from Sylvie:

Dear Collector, this unframed canvas piece has been wrapped around the wooden frame and the edges have been papered over with brown paper to hide the hardware. There are two prominent slashes to the canvas at the top of the canvas and a few spots where the paint has chipped away from the canvas. We don't mind these imperfections because it speaks to the history and distance these canvases have travelled.
