Found in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, this 1950s French bistro table is exactly the kind that would have sat out on a maison's terrace, holding morning coffee, a carafe of wine, or whatever stretched the afternoon a little longer. The white marble top is worn and softly marked from years of use, set on a wrought iron base with hand-forged scrollwork that gives it that unmistakable French silhouette. Built to live outside and be used daily, these tables were made sturdy but never heavy in feeling - easy to move, easy to gather around. Sylvie loves it pulled up to a window outside, two chairs, a coffee, maybe a glass that never made it back inside.
