This is one Sylvie always keeps an eye out for. Found in Montpellier and dating to the early 20th century, this folding screen would have originally been used to divide space - creating privacy in shared rooms or shielding heat from a fire. Upholstered in a rich green fabric with nailhead trim tracing each panel, it has that softly worn surface that catches light differently across each fold. Sylvie loves it as a headboard - set just behind the bed where it catches the morning light.
